These "other goodies" can be layered inside your cake layers with the buttercream filling - or spread underneath the buttercream topping of a cupcake for an extra punch of flavor :)
Inside each tier of your wedding cake, you will find 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of buttercream filling (as shown in the diagram).
​
If you would like to add an additional “pop” of flavor inside the layers, you might consider something from the “other goodies” list like fruit preserve, salted caramel sauce or chocolate ganache! These types of fillings would be added as a thin layer in between the cake and buttercream filling layers.

Each tier can be a different flavor combination, or you can choose to have all of the tiers the same flavor.
​
The outside of each tier is finished with a thin layer of vanilla bean buttercream.
